Lovely fish and abstract fish

This week, our young artists created colorful koi fish paintings inspired by the beauty of nature. Children practiced using bright colors, simple shapes, and lines to draw and decorate their fish while painting a soft water background. Through this project, they explored color recognition, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills as they carefully colored the fish and added details such as spots, fins, and water plants. The activity also encouraged creativity, observation, and confidence in expressing their own artistic ideas. We are proud of their hard work and the vibrant underwater scenes they created!

This week, our 6–11-year-old students explored abstract fish art inspired by bold colors, patterns, and geometric shapes. Students learned how to divide their compositions into sections and fill each area with unique designs, lines, and textures. They practiced color harmony, contrast, and creative pattern-making while combining fish imagery with abstract art techniques. This lesson encouraged imagination, artistic expression, and confidence in using vibrant colors to create eye-catching and original artwork. Students will continue working on and finish their abstract fish paintings next week.
