This week, our young artists will create a cute sloth resting on a tree branch. Children will practice drawing simple shapes, coloring, and adding details to bring their sloth and leafy surroundings to life. This fun project encourages creativity, fine-motor skills, and imagination while exploring the gentle world of nature.

This week, our students will be working on their 2026–2027 National PTA Reflections Art Contest artwork! The theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.” Students will explore meaningful parts of their culture, such as traditional foods like dumplings, music, language, art, holidays and celebrations such as the Moon Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Lunar New Year, as well as lucky symbols, pandas, and the Great Wall of China. Students are also learning about the Yin and Yang symbol, which represents balance, harmony, and how opposite forces can complement each other. Through their artwork, students will share what makes their culture unique, special, and meaningful to them.. We will continue working on and finish the artwork next week.
