Around the Town

PS and PK

This week, our young artists created a colorful “Shape Planet” using a variety of geometric shapes such as circles, triangles, rectangles, and squares. Children learned to identify and combine different shapes to build imaginative houses and structures around a planet. They explored color choices, shape recognition, and spatial awareness while strengthening their fine motor skills through drawing, coloring, and cutting activities. This fun project encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and imagination as children designed their own unique world in space. We are proud of their wonderful artwork and creative ideas!

This week, our 6–11-year-old students completed their abstract fish art inspired by vibrant colors, bold shapes, and creative patterns. Throughout the project, students learned how to divide their compositions into sections and fill each area with unique designs, textures, and color combinations. They practiced color harmony, pattern-making, and composition while developing their creativity and artistic confidence. It was wonderful to see each student’s individual style shine through as they added their final details and completed their colorful, one-of-a-kind artworks.
