Fireworks Show

In this art class, students learned about creating vibrant cityscape scenes using mixed media techniques. The lesson focused on capturing the excitement
and dynamic energy of fireworks over a city skyline.
Using colorful oil pastels, colored pencils, and white markers,
students explored blending and layering colors to create the illusion of sparkling fireworks lighting up the night sky. They also practiced drawing geometric shapes and lines to depict the buildings, paying attention to perspective and proportion.
This engaging project not only honed their technical drawing skills but also encouraged creativity and  self-expression through art.

Starfish Craft

Today our primary learning goal is to develop kids' fine motor skills and
creativity through engaging activities.
By gluing different sequins and beads in the shape of a starfish on canvas,
children will enhance their hand-eye coordination,
spatial awareness, and concentration.
They will also learn about colors, textures, and shapes,
fostering their artistic expression and imagination.
Additionally, this activity will encourage
social interaction and cooperation
as they share materials and ideas with their peers.

By sketching and shading a starfish using
charcoal and graphite pencils for K -2nd grade,
they'll learn about light and shadow, texture, and
form through simple techniques.
The goal is to help them gain confidence
in their drawing abilities and enjoy the process of creating art.
