Bowl Aquarium

 

In this art lesson, students explored the concept of creating a bowl aquarium scene by combining various art techniques. The project involved drawing and coloring elements of a fishbowl, including aquatic plants and sea creatures such as fish and a seahorse. In addition to traditional drawing, the lesson introduced collage techniques, where students used torn paper to create the textured bodies of the fish. This layering effect added depth and visual interest to the artwork. Through this exercise, students developed their creativity, learned about mixed media, and gained skills in composition and texture creation.

In the after-school program, students are diligently continuing to work on their artwork for the Reflection Art Contest. They are putting the finishing touches on their pieces while incorporating thoughtful ideas that reflect the contest's theme. As they refine their work, they are encouraged to express their creativity and personal interpretations, ensuring that their final submission not only showcases their artistic skills but also conveys a meaningful message aligned with the theme. This process allows students to deepen their understanding of the theme and connect their artwork to their own experiences and insights.
