Playing and "I belong"

PS&PK-

This week in art, we looked at a happy tree picture full of bright colors, smiling faces, and playful details. For children ages 3–5, this kind of artwork helps them explore shapes, colors, and simple storytelling. They can notice the red apples in the tree, the sun with a smile, the butterflies, and the children playing. We encourage them to talk about what they see, count the apples, name the animals, and share how the picture makes them feel. Through drawing and coloring, children practice holding crayons, making marks, and using their imagination to create their own happy nature scenes. This kind of art activity builds early fine motor skills, creativity, and joy in learning. We will continue and finish coloring next week.

ASP-

In our after-school program, students are working on the theme “I Belong” for the Reflection Art Contest. They spent time thinking carefully about what they wanted to draw, so some of them didn’t finish their artwork yet. We will continue next week, and if they still have extra time, they can either create a second picture or complete their seal coloring project that’s not finished.
