Angel

PS and PK

This week in art class, our 3–5-year-old students created a joyful holiday artwork inspired by an angel Christmas tree. Using paint pens children explored bright colors, simple shapes, and gentle brush strokes while practicing hand control and creativity. They enjoyed adding fun details like dots, hearts, gifts, and little animals, which encouraged imagination and storytelling. This activity helped build fine motor skills, color recognition, and confidence, while celebrating the holiday spirit in a playful and age-appropriate way.

In this art lesson, students ages 6–10 created a heartwarming angel painting inspired by friendship and kindness. They learned how to sketch figures, paint facial expressions, and add details such as wings, halos, and clouds using layered brush techniques. Students practiced blending colors, creating highlights and shadows, and expressing emotion through their artwork. This project encouraged creativity, storytelling, and patience while helping students build confidence and refine their painting skills in a meaningful holiday-themed piece.

Lovely Bear

PS and PK

This week in art class, our young artists created a sweet winter bear painting! The children learned how to use shapes to build the bear’s face and explored soft brushstrokes to make snowy trees and a night sky. They practiced fine-motor skills, color blending, and using their imagination to bring the scene to life. We are so proud of their creativity and focus!”
